Cognitive Map Portfolio



 
Using my map as a prompt, the children sketched places that mattered to them—henhouses, grocery stalls, the paths they walked every day. As we compared maps, patterns emerged, and so did surprises. Through drawing and conversation, the same village slowly became expanded in perception.

Apparently, they imitated my drawing a lot.
